After 30 years of trying, Beth finally got empanelled on a jury last Thursday, and it turned out to be a drug trafficking case that lasted through today. A couple of jurors were holding out that in spite of the lack of evidence he was a drug dealer anyway and should be locked up, but in the end they found him not guilty. Beth had to dutifully get up at 5am to get ready and get up to Woburn by 8:30 with all the back to school traffic (and pouring rain this morning), but she made it. Meanwhile, I haven’t been called for jury duty for 20 years!
